Competition rules on Facebook

Facebook is constantly changing its competition rules – the last time being in December 2010. The main things to be aware of are:

1. Competitions may ONLY run in an application – not on the wall!
2. You may not reward the use of Facebook’s social channels (likes, comments, invites, shares, etc.)!
3. You must inform users that the competition is being held by you and not Facebook!
4. Be sure to collect the participants’ contact details via the application, as you may not contact or publish the name of the winner via Facebook.
