Thousands of companies, organizations and associations wonder what exactly a Facebook Page is for. Some have started creating one, some have already done it but many are not quite sure what the effect of it is and how to manage a Facebook Page in the best possible way. We decided to do something about this uncertainty, and we’ve therefore created a Facebook guide on the subject.
It is a large task in itself to create a comprehensive guide on how companies should use Facebook, and when you start to think about the dynamic development of opportunities with Facebook, it would be an almost endless project. The guide we've made, therefore, focuses only on one element of many business opportunities within Facebook, namely ‘Facebook Pages’.
A Facebook Page is free and easy to create and is therefore tempting to start on, especially now when so many people use Facebook on a daily basis. Some companies rush themselves into it while others hesitate too long for fear of the unknown. Both cases can lead to problems that can be easily avoided by taking a number of things into consideration. We have used our experience to create a guide containing 10 tips, which will give you an idea of what a Facebook Page can be used for and what it takes to manage it.
The Guide to Facebook Pages is targeted at professionals working in the communication, HR and marketing area, and others who are in charge of a company’s decisions about using Facebook as a way to promote the business. The guide will give you an overview of what a Facebook Page is best used for, what is expected when you create a Facebook Page as well as how you can create relevant content for your users.
We hope that the guide can help shed some light on this excellent tool called ‘Facebook Pages’, and also help to lay the foundation for many more businesses to start a successful dialogue with their stakeholders on Facebook.
