• Team Danmark Recruit Fans Successfully with Facebook Ads

Team Danmark is an association for elite sports in Denmark. As an open and transparent organization, they wanted to start using Facebook for sharing the athletes’ interesting stories and for enabling their fans to experience and communicate with those. But how could they successfully do that?

    OBJECTIVE
Team Denmark aimed at creating an active Facebook community and the first step towards their success was to recruit the right fans, who would be genuinely interested in elite sports. Apart from the traditional channels, Team Denmark decided to try Facebook advertising and trusted the Komfo Ads to help with it.

    SOLUTION
The ad campaign was accompanied by daily posting with ongoing focus on getting the current and potential fans’ attention and not necessarily engaging those actively with comments. Team Denmark created relevant content, aiming at telling the story of the organization helping and supporting the athletes in their pursuit for medals and championships. Therefore, the team shared on Facebook pictures, videos and background info about the Danish athletes and stories from “behind the scenes”.

Answering the fans’ questions and requests in timely manner was crucial for the association. Therefore, they appreciated Komfo’s Monitor tool, which helped them follow closely all incoming messages, delegate easily tasks internally inbetween the teams and answer on time.

    RESULTS
Team Denmark achieved great results during their ad campaign thanks to their good content and the Komfo Ads. They managed to double their fanbase from 700 to 1500 within less than a week and continued their efforts on Facebook by trying to engage effectively that audience.
